Promoting the Industry

Several ICCA member associations are engaged in promoting the corrugated industry and its products to their region of the world.
Here are a few of these programs:

Europe

FEFCO (European Federation of Corrugated Board Manufacturers) promotes the idea that corrugated packaging is circular by nature.

As a paper product, corrugated packaging is the perfect example of the Circular Economy: 100% recyclable, based on renewable sources (sustainably managed forests) and bio-degradable. For more information, contact Nathalie Schneegans, Communications Director, FEFCO.

Canada

The Canadian Corrugated and Containerboard Association (CCCA) has an active paid advertising and public relations outreach program in Canada.  The organization is currently running two advertisements in both English and French.

For more information, contact Allen Kirkpatrick, Executive Director, CCCA.

The United States

The Fibre Box Association (FBA) is engaged in an active paid and organic outreach program to promote the benefits of corrugated packaging to corrugated markets. “Boxes. The Most Extraordinary Ordinary Thing in the World.” became the FBA tagline to highlight the benefits and attributes of corrugated packaging and at the same time to reflect evolving market place trends like e-commerce, printing technology advancements, and shifting dynamics in recycling and sustainability.

For more information, contact Rachel Kenyon, Senior Vice President, FBA.

Paper + Packaging Board (Check-Off Program)

Corrugated converting companies in the U.S. also participate in a broader paper and packaging program administered by the Paper + Packaging Board. The How Life Unfolds® campaign launched in July 2015. For more information, contact Mary Anne Hansan, President, Paper + Packaging Board.
